About Us

Little eLit Raison D'ĂȘtre
Little eLit reviews apps and eBooks for children aged 2-5; reviews scholarly and professional materials about media use in early childhood; maintains a current list of other review resources; provides information about digital and media literacy; and documents the digital natives in their natural environment. We review media from as many different sources and on as many different devices as possible, and we field-test them with digital natives in our target age range.

Cen Campbell
Adult/Teen Services Librarian
Mountain View Library
Cen began her professional library career as a Bookmobile manager is rural Nova Scotia, after which she escaped to the warmth of California’s central valley, where she managed a branch library, had a brief stint as acting regional manager for 4 branches, and finally found her rightful place in the Youth Services department.  She attended the Eureka Leadership Institute in 2008 and took charge of Stanislaus County Library’s Teen Department. Now she runs an Early Literacy program at Blossom Birth Services and runs amok in the Mountain View Library’s Adult, Teen and Technical Services departments.
